It all began when Chip Lovern, a US Marine, discovered during his deployment in Iraq that there was much more to keeping water safe for consumption than just making sure it was in a BPA free bottle. Chip’s interest in research, technology, and product development partnered with his wife Heather’s expertise on design, trends and the wholesale gift industry was the perfect combination in creating PURE.
